Work-in-Progress Exhibition: ISU Ignite Innovation Showcase, Spring 2022

This week-long exhibition was a featured event at Iowa State University’s Ignite Innovation Showcase, showcasing the in-progress work of interdisciplinary option studios within the College of Design.

As one of five executive members of the Design Social Club, I played a key role in developing the exhibition’s visual identity and experience. Our team collaborated on designing the brand identity, digital invitation, wayfinding signage, and a series of informative posters. Additionally, we managed the setup and spatial arrangement of the exhibition.

While contributing to the overarching project efforts, I spearheaded the design of the hanging placards, a critical component for organizing the exhibition space. For each of the 12 option studios, I designed distinctive 2x6 ft placards featuring the studio name and pertinent information. Suspended from the ceiling, these placards served as striking visual markers, guiding attendees to the respective studio displays and enhancing the clarity and flow of the exhibition.
